Strange architectural plants from South Africa and California create a fun surprise when you come up the steps of this home.

With a color pallette of yellows, reds, and oranges a large palm planter and two tiny planting strips in the back are now little vignettes of colors and textures that take you on a journey. These spaces were previously used for rotating flowers, now they will save a lot of water and have a full lush garden that’s easy to care for.

Hot colors, cool spaces

With plant names like Monkey flower, Cousin Itt, Jester, and Kangaroo paw you know it’s going to be a fun garden! Arranging the little rock gardens and ‘river’ of Pork & Beans succulents made this such a fun project. I Love repurposing fountains as planters too, all the trailing succulents are going to look like green flowing water.
