How to deal with garden bugs when it’s blazing hot out?

Why do the bugs love dominate when it’s high summer? It’s really annoying, this is the time we have to spend the long warm evenings in the garden, only to find a bunch of holes in the leaves. Uggh! One of the reasons is that pests can smell and see stressed plants, and extreme heat causes stress to our plants, so in come the pests to finish them off.

Probably one of the reasons our native plants drop off their leaves in the summer, no water, heat, bugs? Forget it! I’ll come back when it rains. They’re so adaptable =)
