Before and Afters

Everybody loves a good before and after! Here is a quick roundup of my favorite garden makeovers.

From lawn replacements to native pollinator planters. These are all drought tolerant gardens that capture and sink rainwater and feed our native pollinators. Designed with a palette of hardy California native plants and a mix of Mediterranean and South African natives that thrive in Southern California gardens.

Each garden is customized to it’s unique microclimate, a hot south facing wall or a shady corner that stays wet each have plants that will thrive there. I love replacing outdated shrubs with easy to care for gardens that are so low maintenance you barely need a gardener. Let’s look at some of the gardens we’ve rehabbed over the years.
